Frost"s Descent starts today (October 23).

霜降是二十四节气的第十八个节气，也是秋季的最后一个节气。每年10月23日或24日，太阳黄经为210°时便为霜降，昼夜温差变大。

Frost"s Descent (Chinese: 霜降) is the 18th solar term of the year and the last solar term in autumn. It falls on October 23 or 24 each year when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 210 degrees. During Frost"s Descent period, the temperature difference between day and night becomes large.

天气渐寒始于霜降，广州的霜降从来都是来去悄悄，但今年似乎有了点秋的气息。霜降降的是气温，但人与人之间的关怀不会改变，一言一语间流淌的温情，能温暖整个秋冬。

In most parts of China, it starts to get cold when Frost"s Descent comes. Usually, around this time of year, the summer heat is still hovering in Guangzhou. This year we have finally felt some autumn chill. The weather gets cold, but love and care continue to keep us warm.
